Kilchoman 2012 Mezcal & Tequila Finish Duo for The Whisky Exchange
The well-known British whisky and spirits retailer The Whisky Exchange just released an interesting set of two single cask bottlings from Kilchoman: a Tequila Cask Finish and a Mezcal Cask Finish.
These are two sister casks, two bourbon barrels filled on 11 December 2012, which were transferred to a tequila and a mezcal cask on 6 November 2020 – after almost eight years of maturation.
After a year of finishing in these casks, they were then bottled on 15 November 2021.
This will give Kilchoman lovers an ideal opportunity to compare a tequila and a mezcal finish of the same age and same finishing time.
