Kilchoman occasionally releases bottlings that aren’t intended for a specific country but for smaller markets, where the demand for own single cask bottlings is still too small. So they are delivered in partial quantities to different countries.

This release is one of them. It was released as one of three Kilchoman Single Cask bottlings at the beginning of 2021 in Slovakia. In which other countries further partial editions were sold is not fully known. So far, we only know about British Columbia (Canada).

The whisky was matured over 11 years in a ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel.
