This single cask release for Drinks by the Dram, the whisky sampling service of whisky shop and independent bottler Master of Malt, appeared at the end of 2018 both as a 0,7 l bottle and as a 3 cl sample. In the latter version, it was also included in the well-known Drinks by the Dram Christmas calendar The Scotch Whisky Advent Calendar.
The whisky was matured for over 5 years in an ex-bourbon barrel and then finished for five months in a Portuguese Red Wine cask from the Douro Valley.
