In the early years of the Kilchoman distillery, FC Whisky Denmark was one of the most active national importers. From 2010 to 2015, it released 11 Kilchoman single cask bottlings for the Danish market.

The bottling mentioned here, released at the beginning of 2014, was the tenth Kilchoman single cask release by FC Whisky Denmark. The whisky was first matured for over 5 years in an ex-bourbon barrel and then finished for six months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
