In the summer of 2023, the German Kilchoman importer Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft Bremen released An Samhradh 2023, already the sixth Uniquely Islay series with ten different bottlings.
This is number 4 of this series, a Calvados Double Cask Finish aged just under 13 years.
The whisky was initially matured for over 11 years in two ex-bourbon barrels and was then finished for more than twenty months in a Calvados cask.
