In the summer of 2023, the German Kilchoman importer Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft Bremen released An Samhradh 2023, already the sixth Uniquely Islay series with ten different bottlings.
This is number 6 in the series, one of two different Port Cask Finishings. The whisky was first matured for nearly five years in a bourbon barrel and was then finished in a Port wine hogshead for 20 month.
