The Kilchoman single cask release listed here was bottled at the beginning of 2017 for the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel. The bottling was selected by the hotel’s bar chef Thomas Huhn and not only served in the hotel, but also sold for CHF 159.00 per bottle.

The whisky was first matured for almost 5 years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel before being finished in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogshead.
