With the 2nd edition of the annual Oloroso Sherry Cask Release, which was released on 8.4.2013, it received its own name. Loch Gorm is a freshwater lake near the distillery.

Kilchoman launched its first Sherry Cask Release in April 2012. With the second release on 8 April 2013, it was given its own name – Loch Gorm, located near the distillery, is Islays largest freshwater lake. In future, this bottling should be released once a year, usually as the first limited release of the year.
