It is Kilchoman’s stated policy not to sell whiskies to independent bottlers. Some exceptions to this principle were made in the early days of the distillery. The four and a half year old bottling of a fresh ex-bourbon barrel for the Jewish Whisky Company, which was released at the end of 2012, was one of them.
