Kilchoman Christmas Online Tasting 2023 announced

This year, Kilchoman will once again be hosting an Online Christmas Tasting with Anthony and James Wills on Facebook and YouTube on Thursday 28 December from 6.00pm Islay time.

In addition to the Core Range Whisky Machir Bay, the tasting pack contains three samples of limited bottlings of the year 2023 with the 13th Edition of the 100% Islay, the 16 Year Old Release and the 12th Edition of the Club Release.

Here are the Whiskies in detail:

• Machir Bay – 46,0%. THE standard whisky from Kilchoman. A vatting of 90% bourbon cask and 10% oloroso sherry cask matured whiskies.
• 100% Islay, 13th Edition – 46,0%. Released in September 2023, the latest bottling of Kilchoman’s annual 100% Islay Release was matured in 44 bourbon barrels from 2013, 2014 and 2015.
• 16 Years Old Release – 50,0%. The first global bottling of a 16-year-old Kilchoman whisky undoubtedly represents a milestone in Kilchoman’s history.
• Kilchoman Club Release 2023, 12th Edition – 54,1%. This year’s release for members of the Kilchoman Club will be officially released on 6 December 2023. It is a vatting of two bourbon barrels that have been finished for a good 14 months in Blanc de Blancs wine casks from the Champagne region.
