After the Chinese Kilchoman importer Single Malt Club China (SMCC) had already released five Kilchoman single cask bottlings in mid-2023, it filled its annual Kilchoman single cask quota with four more bottlings at the end of the year.

The four bottlings were two further Sauternes wine cask finishes, another Ruby Port cask finish and an eight-year-old full maturation in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

For the Ruby Port finish listed here, the whisky was first matured for five years in an ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel before being finished in a Ruby Port hogshead for over two years.
