First Kilchoman Palo Cortado Single Cask Finish 877/2018 for Gall & Gall released

The Dutch liquor chain Gall & Gall has now released another Kilchoman single cask bottling. And this time it is something very special: the first Palo Cortado finish from Kilchoman. Following Oloroso, PX and Fino sherry bottlings, this is the first time a Kilchoman has been available in this special type of sherry.

This is the fourth Kilchoman single cask bottling that Gall & Gall has released, after a Sauternes and a Port Cask Finish in 2022, a Calvados Cask Finish was released in July 2023.

The whisky was initially matured for more than four years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel and was then finished for over 11 months in a Palo Cortado cask.
