At the end of 2012, the German Kilchoman importer Alba Import released its first “Small Batch Bottling for Germany”, which was to be followed by numerous others at roughly annual intervals. The release is a vatting of three fresh bourbon barrels in which the whisky has been matured for just over 5 years.
