Comraich Batch No. 7

After a relatively long break – Comraich Batch No. 6 was bottled at the end of 2002 and released in February 2023 – Batch No. 7 has now been announced for the end of 2024.

The Comraich releases bottled in batches are known to be special bottlings for the bars of the same name, which can only be tasted there and are not sold at the market. There is now a worldwide network of over 100 whisky bars that have been awarded Comraich bar status by Kilchoman. An overview can be found here.

All that is known about Batch No. 7 so far is that it will be an 8-year-old single farm single malt, i.e. a representative of Kilchoman’s 100% Islay range, where all production steps from barley growing to bottling are carried out on site.
