John MacLellan to become new Kilchoman manager

Kilchoman announced today that John MacLellan, manager of the Bunnahabhain distillery for 12 years, will join Kilchoman as the new general manager. He will take up his new job on 3 May, in addition to managing the day-to-day operations, he will also be responsible for cask selection in the future.
The old manager Malcolm Rennie will move to the newly founded Lowland distillery Annandale.

John MacLellan enjoys an excellent reputation on Islay as a whisky expert, the fact that he is now getting involved in the new Kilchoman project seems to us to be a good sign. Anthony Wills has certainly made a great move in bringing him to Kilchoman.
