In early August 2023, Kilchoman’s US importer ImpEx Beverages announced this 10-year-old Marsala cask finish for Total Wine & More. After a bottling already announced in May 2023 for ImpEx Beverages’ renowned Cask Evolution series, this is already the second Marsala Cask Finish for the USA.

Total Wine & More calls itself “America’s Wine Superstore”. Founded in 1991, the company is the largest independent supermarket chain for wine, spirits and beer with 46 superstores in 27 US states.

The whisky was first matured for almost nine years in an ex-bourbon barrel and then finished for two years in a Marsala wine cask.
