In mid-2011, the Japanese Kilchoman importer Whisk-e Ltd introduced its customers to a 100% Islay whisky for the first time with this single cask bottling, i.e. a whisky from the product line of the Kilchoman distillery, where all production steps, “from barley to bottle” are carried out on site and which constitute Kilchoman’s pride and self-image as Islay’s farm distillery.

The whisky was matured for over three years in an ex-bourbon barrel.
