The well-known Scottish whisky merchant Loch Fyne Whiskies from Inveraray released this single cask bottling of a 100% Islay whisky matured for 10 years in a fresh bourbon barrel at the beginning of 2018. In the 100% Islay production line, which is somewhat weaker peated at approx. 20 ppm, it is known that all production steps from barley to bottle – from the cultivation and harvesting of the barley to the bottling – are carried out exclusively by Kilchoman itself and justify their self-image of a farm distillery.
