In the summer of 2023, the German Kilchoman importer Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft Bremen released An Samhradh 2023, already the sixth Uniquely Islay series with ten different bottlings.
This is number 3 of this series. The bottling is one of the world’s first Kilchoman finishings in Blanc de Blancs Champagne casks.
The whisky has been matured in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel for over five years before being finished in a Blanc de Blancs Champagne hogshead for over nine month.
