The Chinese Kilchoman importer Single Malt Club China (SMCC) organised a big Kilchoman marketing tour with Peter Wills in September 2023. The Kilchoman single cask bottling listed here was released for the “Tour of the Coinean” (the name refers to the Chinese Year of the Rabbit, as “Coinean” means “rabbit” in Gaelic).
The whisky was first matured in two ex-bourbon barrels and was then finished in a 400l Calvados cask.
