Kilchoman Club Release 13th Edition announced

Traditionally, Kilchoman releases an exclusive bottling for the members of its Kilchoman Club at the end of each year. This year’s 13th club release has now been announced.

Anthony Wills and Robin Bignal decided on a nine-year-old single cask bottling of an Oloroso sherry butt.

Sourced from Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Jerez, cask 209/2015 is a fresh ex-oloroso sherry cask filled on 01.04.2015 and matured for nine years and seven months in the Kilchoman warehouse in Conisby on Islay.

Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills wrote: “Single sherry butt bottlings of Kilchoman are quite a rarity so I am delighted to offer this nine year old sherry butt to our Club Members. This particular cask stood out for its seamless combination of rich sherry influence, deep malty notes, and maritime peat smoke.”

Kilchoman club members can purchase the release online from the Kilchoman homepage from 12 noon Islay time on Wednesday, 4 December 2024, limited to one bottle per person. The bottles cost £72,08 + VAT and shipping.
