Just like in 2014, the Kilchoman marketing tour by James and Peter Wills through continental Europe in September 2015 was followed by a Land Rover tour by George Wills through Great Britain in November 2015. He presented the Kilchoman range in numerous whisky shops and organised tastings. For the tour, of course, an exclusive bottling was bottled again, the Machir Bay in cask strength mentioned here.

For the European Tour 2014 and the subsequent UK Land Rover Tour 2014, Kilchoman bottled Machir Bay batches at cask strength for the first time as exclusive tour bottlings. These bottlings were a great success with Kilchoman fans, showing the well-known standard release undiluted with an even more pronounced fruitiness. In the following years, it became a nice tradition to bring out a Machir Bay Cask Strength edition for the Kilchoman marketing tours.

Kilchoman only deviated from this tradition for the 2023 European Tour. After Kilchoman had released two larger Machir Cask Strength Limited Editions in 2020 and 2022, they now wanted to offer the fans something new and decided on a vatting from bourbon and port casks.
