From time to time, Kilchoman releases single cask or small batch bottlings without special country labelling for the so-called “Smaller Markets”. This is to give countries where the demand for their own exclusive bottlings is (still) too small access to a larger number of Kilchoman releases.

A first partial edition of the bottling listed here was first released in Slovakia in December 2022, followed by others in the Czech Republic and Ireland. Distribution in other countries is very likely.

This is a Marsala Cask Finish, one of the first Kilchoman bottlings of this type of maturation. The whisky was first matured for more than 8 years in an ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel and was then finished for one year in a Marsala wine cask.
