With his Malts of Scotland label, Thomas Ewers is certainly one of the most renowned independent bottlers in Germany. Among many other whisky casks, he also bought several casks from the Kilchoman Private Cask programme, which he sold exclusively in his warehouse shop in Paderborn.

In mid-2016, the first two Kilchoman Private Single Casks were released by MoS, in addition to the cask listed here, another ex-bourbon barrel (No. 347/2006) that is a good nine years old.
