In September 2014, Peter and James Wills, two of the three sons of Anthony Wills and responsible for marketing at Kilchoman, went on the European Land Rover Tour with the Kilchoman Land Rover, a marketing tour that took them through 8 European countries. In whisky shops in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France they presented the Kilchoman Range. On the occasion of the tour, an exclusive whisky was bottled again: a Machir Bay at cask strength, whose 1,518 bottles were sold exclusively during the tour.

For the German part of the tour, the German Kilchoman importer Alba Import also presented the single cask bottling listed here. This was the first Kilchoman PX Finish for the German market.

The whisky was first matured for four and a half years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel and was then finished for four months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
