Kilchoman PX Single Cask Finish 698/2015 – Sweden Exclusive Volume 5

Almost exactly one year after the Kilchoman Sweden Exclusive Volume 4 Release, the 5th bottling of the exclusive single cask series for Sweden has been released.

This time, it is a PX Cask Finish, i.e. the whisky, which is exactly 7 years old, was first matured for five and a half years in an ex-bourbon barrel and then finished for 18 months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

An typo has crept into the labels on the packaging: both the front and back labels refer to a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask (full) maturation. On the bottles, however, it correctly says: Pedro Ximénez Single Cask Finish.
