The Japanese Kilchoman importer Whisk-e Ltd released this Kilchoman Single Cask bottling in 2014. The whisky was matured for almost 5 years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel.

The sister cask 174/2009 was released by Whisk-e Ltd half a year later. This gave the Japanese whisky friends a nice opportunity to compare two Kilchoman bottlings matured for about 5 years in an ex-bourbon barrel.
