After the first Kilchoman single cask release for Binny´s Beverage Depot at the end of 2010, the bottling mentioned here followed a year later. Founded in 1948, Binny’s is the largest wine, beer and spirits supermarket chain in the Midwest with 45 shops in Illinois.

The whisky was matured for five years in an ex-bourbon barrel.
