This bottling, released in spring 2010, was the first single cask release of a Kilchoman whisky for Germany and only the fifth worldwide. The whisky was matured for a little more than 3 years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel.

For the last time with a Kilchoman Single Cask Release, the bottle still has a banderole around the cork. From May 2010 onwards, bottles bottled by hand at Kilchoman also had a metal capsule. The label still features the slightly darker blue of the Kilchoman Inaugural Release from September 2009. From the Autumn 2009 Release in November 2009, all Kilchoman bottlings had a royal blue label for the next two years. Only nine early single cask bottlings, such as the one listed here, still used the old dark blue labels.
