Founded in 1956, the well-known French whisky shop (and Kilchoman importer) La Maison du Whisky has been based at 20 Rue d`Anjou in Paris since 1968. To mark this 50th anniversary, it released the Kilchoman single cask bottling listed here in mid-2018. This was sold exclusively directly on site in the shop’s newly created Islay Room.

The whisky was matured for a good 10 years in an ex-bourbon barrel.
