That Boutique-y Whisky Company, a trading name of Atom Supplies Ltd, Tonbridge, Kent was founded in their own words “to bring forgotten drams from some of the worlds best distilleries to the whisky-craving masses. often taken from miniscule parcels of forgotten stock / lost casks, none of our bottles carry an age-statement. Our limited edition labels are hand-illustrated and designed with a nod towards whimiscality, often incorporating whisky industry in-jokes.”

Thanks to the originally designed labels and the sometimes truly outstanding bottlings, That Boutique-y Whisky Company enjoys a good reputation among whisky lovers and especially the whisky collectors among them.

In 2013, TBWC even released the Kilchoman bottling mentioned here, although Kilchoman normally does not sell whisky to independent bottlers.

Unfortunately, the bottler is extremely sparing with information about the release. The barley varieties Optic and Publican are mentioned on the label, but apart from the alcohol content and the number of bottles, no other details are given.
