The Kilchoman distillery has been sponsoring the Islay Pipe Band since 2012. The activities of the band have often been reported on the Kilchoman homepage and a performance by the Islay Pipe Band has been a fixed item on the programme at the Kilchoman Open Day at Fèis Ìle for years.

From 2013 to 2017, Kilchoman released an annual single cask bottling for the Islay Pipe Band. The bottles were sold exclusively at the distillery’s visitor centre and all proceeds went to the band.

The last bottling listed here was released in June 2017. The whisky was first matured for five years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel and then finished for six months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
