In April 2019 the Belgian Kilchoman importer The Nectar released this Rum Finish Single Cask Release of the cask no. 414/2012. The Whisky was first matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel before being finished in a Barbados Rum Cask for 11 month.

In November 2019 The Nectar also released the sister cask no. 413/2012, which had a Barbados Rum finish of 11 months. For the Kilchoman friend, this is an exciting opportunity to compare what the 7 months longer rum cask maturation has achieved.
